HTC presents a new line of communicators

16.02.2007 Barcelona, Spain — Today at the Conference and 3GSM World Congress exhibition High Tech Computer («HTC») company, a world leader in Microsoft Windows Mobile-based devices production, has announced the launch of three mobile devices in the first quarter of 2007. These innovative devices are based on the latest technologies of mobile convergence for the consumer and corporate markets and represent the strive of HTC company for the development of up-to-date, design-attractive and setting new categories of form-factors and applications.

HTC Advantage (X7500) — Being the strongest «mobile office» today, HTC Advantage is «smarter» and lighter than the tiniest note-book. It supports Microsoft Outlook Mobile providing fast access to mail, calendar, tasks and contacts. HTC P3350 has everything for listening to the music and working with multimedia when traveling. It’s a full-function device, providing a wide range of mobile applications, such as  Microsoft Office Mobile, needed for viewing and editing Word and Excel documents in combination with rich Media Hub HTC tool, allowing to play and monitor music and video-clips, and create ring-tones of your own.

T-Mobile will be the first to produce HTC Advantage (under T-Mobile «Ameo» name) in March 2007 in Germany, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Austria and Poland, while in some other countries the devices under HTC brand will be turned out.

Orange operator will put HTC S710 (under Orange SPV E650 brand) on the majority of European markets in the first half of the year within its Signature product line. Orange SPV E650 will have individually adjusted Home screen with pictograms, providing a “one click” access to such functions as Internet, e-mail, calendar and contacts.  

In March HTC P3350 will be offered for sale via HTC network of operators and distributors.

T-Mobile company has recently announced the production of HTC Advantage under its own «Ameo» brand. «It’s the newest model in the long list of T-Mobile and HTC pioneer developments, among which there are MDA Pro and MDA Vario II. Yves Maitre, Orange vice-president, has remarked: «The devices similar to SPV E650 can be viewed as a perfect supplement to Orange Signature product range, user-friendly and appropriate for business. Orange is the first operator, starting supply of the device on the basis of Windows Mobile 6.0, tentative business tool, allowing to operate cellphone-size device with PC-like keyboard».
