The information upon the device and ways of distinguishing between those intended for sale and the others under ban.

The devices, intended for sale in Russia, have a holographic HTC company label, as well «RUS» letters. The label is stuck on the side surface of the box the device is packed in.

The device is supplied with the producer’s warranty certificate, which provides guarantee maintenance. The label bearing the name, IMEI, serial code and certification information does not have a «RUS» region code, but it will be printed in the future.

The devices intended for sale in CIS and forbidden in Russia, do not have holographic labels. The device, salable in CIS, is not supplied with the producer’s warranty certificate. They have «CIS» regional code, imprinted on the sticker bearing the device name, IMEI and its serial code.

The devices of that sort are not subject to guarantee maintenance at HTC authorized service centers. These devices are not designated for and are prohibited for sale in Russia. Sales are monitored in all regions, device shipments are carefully checked.
